By the way: Since the release of EMS (Enhanced Messaging System) by leading mobile phone manufacturer Nokia in 2001, which was well before the introduction of UMTS and Bluetooth, the use of picture messages became available to other manufacturers, too. This function has been incorporated in the development of the latest devices from all manufacturers ever since. It can be assumed that almost all new devices will support the distribution of picture message-based offerings. |
